Before downloading the Strand System Builder software, you must read and agree to the Licensing Agreement. Click to view Strand System Builder™ SITE LICENSE AGREEMENT Copyright 2007-2008 Strand Lighting. All rights reserved. This is a legal document between you, the end user, and Philips. The enclosed Strand System Builder™ software program (the "SOFTWARE"), is provided by Philips to you, for use only on the terms set forth in this agreement. By installing the SOFTWARE on your computer, you are agreeing to be bound to the terms in this agreement. 1. Grant of License. Philips grants you the right to use one copy of the enclosed SOFTWARE on a single-user computer. You may not network the SOFTWARE or otherwise use it on more than one computer. You may not use this software at multiple sites. 2. Copyright. The software is owned by Philips and is protected by United States copyright laws and international treaty provisions. You must treat the SOFTWARE as you would any other copyrighted material (such as a book), except that you may copy the SOFTWARE to a hard disk for normal use. 3. Other Restrictions. You may not rent or lease the software. You may not transfer the software. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works from the SOFTWARE. WARRANTY INFORMATION This software is provided "AS IS." THERE IS NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY WITH RESPECT TO THE SOFTWARE, AND PHILIPS DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM THE USE OF THIS SOFTWARE, AND SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas. CALCULATIONS: DISCLAIMER Any calculations performed when using this software will be based entirely on user defined data, and based on products selected solely by the user. Project schedules, load schedules, and one line-drawing(s) shown as a result of such calculations and based on other user-controlled criteria shall be for suggestion purposes only. Actual, final layouts, load schedules and product choices, and compliance with all building codes, shall be user’s sole responsibility. Philips (including Strand Lighting) accepts any responsibility for the user’s project design or the application of Philips products in any installation. Philips and Strand Lighting reserve the right, without notice, to change details of design, materials and finish of any products at any time, which may affect the results, as otherwise shown, of the software calculations.
