SYSTEM LAYOUT TRAINING (SLT)

This 3-day course is designed for all staff at dealers who will answer calls from end users regarding existing systems. It includes basic troubleshooting for PL fixtures and provides an understanding of Strand Lighting system functionality and troubleshooting. This introduces the equipment and how it works together so the dealer tech can answer client questions and have basic on-site skills.
Requirements: This 3-day program is a requirement for all Strand reps.
FACTORY CERTIFIED TECHNICAL TRAINING (FCT)

This 5-day program is designed for dealer technicians or independent technicians (independents must be approved by Strand field service prior to enrolment) for the purpose of commissioning new systems. The course covers startup, programming, and troubleshooting of Selecon PL fixtures and Strand dimming and control equipment. Topics include: Selecon PL fixtures, Strand Lighting Contact, A21, R21, S21, C21, N21, and VisionNet equipment. Programs include DimmerNet, Pathport Manager, Flash Magic, Designer Flash, VisionNet, and C21 programming using Google Chrome.
Requirements: Factory Certified Technicians (FCTs) must return to the factory every two years to Returning FCT training to maintain active certification.
RETURNING FACTORY CERTIFIED TECHNICAL TRAINING (RFCT)

This 3-day course is required every two years once a person passes the FCT course. This course covers advanced programming techniques, changes to existing equipment or new equipment released since the previous course, and includes a roundtable discussion with factory personnel to give the FCTs the ability to help improve existing equipment, change factory practices to improve FCT experience onsite, and also help guide development of new equipment and practices.o enquire about bespoke training please use the contact form at the base of the page.

This course will get you up and running in no time. As this course occurs online, the user can acquire training for NEO, NEO PC or the NEO Playback Controller.
Beginner Prerequisite: Basic understanding of theatrical lighting concepts. However, no prior console experience is necessary.
INTERMEDIATE: This training class covers intermediate level operation for NEO consoles and focuses on LED and automated luminaire programming for theatrical based events. As this course occurs online, the user can acquire training for NEO, NEO PC or the NEO Playback Controller.
Intermediate Prerequisite: NEO Beginner Level Course.
