Passaic County Technical Institute
The Passaic County Technical Institute is a national award-winning high school with a 200 course curriculum which includes their School of Performing Arts. With a focus on the student’s artistic development in preparation for life after graduation, the PCTI theatre recently underwent a systems renovation highlighted by the desire to immerse the audience into each performance. To complete the project, Thea & Schoen designed an energy-efficient Philips Strand Lighting retrofit installation that included PLFRESNEL1 and PLPROFILE4 LED luminaires along with a NEO lighting control console, Vision.net Touchscreens, an A21 Dimming System, and CD80SV Retrofit Dimmer Modules.

At the Harvard Club in Boston, MA, we enjoyed a very successful evening at the Apex Lighting Solutions client reception showcasing our line of luminaires and controls to all the designers, technicians and lighting professionals in attendance.
Clearwing Phoenix Vendor Showcase & NEO training
At the Clearwing Phoenix Vendor Showcase we not only got the opportunity to showcase all our latest lighting and control systems, but we also got the opportunity to conduct a NEO lighting console training with students from Arizona State University using the Showline SL 300 BEAM FX which garnered gasps of awe and joy as the students easily controlled the kaleidoscope of effects with NEO.

Bring It On: The Musical
The Milburn Stone Theatre recently produced Bring It On: The Musical and to create the lighting design for the explosive musical comedy, William Price worked with Philips Entertainment to bring in a winning combination that included Showline SL BEAM 300 FX, SL BAR 640, and SL NITRO 510 LED luminaires, along with Philips Vari-Lite VL4000 Spot luminaires and Philips Selecon PLCYC1 LED luminaires. "We never could have accomplished the lighting design that was presented to the audience on opening night had it not been for the gear from Showline, Philips Selecon and Philips Vari-Lite,” Lighting Designer William Price.
